Maps have a fascination for children - as they do for many adults. Give either a map and the urge to find a familiar place often becomes irresistible.

This project enables access to a number of maps from the British Library's unique collection, and the associated investigations and activities invite pupils and teachers to look more closely at what the maps show and what they represent.
