of the interactive exercises may not appear or function
correctly with other browser types. |

Pupils
need pen and paper when working on this project. Some
activities can be completed on screen, some can be downloaded,
some are written activities and some include a combination
of approaches. |

This
project is an excellent opportunity to value the knowledge
of students with other mother-tongues or with English
as a second language. They have the means to look at the
language from a different perspective, and can be encouraged
to compare and communicate their findings. Students learning
classical or modern languages in school can also contribute.

The
project will expand to cover more topics in the future
to deliver a fuller range of activities related to Language
Development (eg the ways meanings have changed). |
