2002 Boxing

Over the last decade, Matchroom have forged a reputation as one of the world's major boxing promoters and television producers. More than 125 world title fights have been staged and televised by Matchroom since their memorable boxing debut featuring Joe Bugner v Frank Bruno in front of 30,000 fans at White Hart Lane in 1987.

Chris Eubank, Nigel Benn, Lennox Lewis, Prince Naseem Hamed, Herbie Hide and Steve Collins are among the world champions to have flourished under the guidance of Barry Hearn's Matchroom stable.

With World Champions Steve Roberts and Michael Ayers leading the way, Matchroom Sport, in partnership with Naseem Hamed's Prince Promotions, are the UK's most prolific promoter of boxing. Staging a total of 38 shows a year, 26 of which are live on Sky Sports in the UK, Matchroom Sport are firmly established as Europe's No.1.
